1989 Pontiac Firebird V8 Trans Am used for a replica KITT car from the world famous TV series Knight Rider with David Hasselhoff. The KITT was built in Switzerland over many years of work. The current owner was lucky to be able to purchase this unique piece and has had the vehicle for 7 years. Generally bought for personal use, but also used for charity work, several trips have been made together with people with disabilities fulfilling their dreams and wishes. This KITT was never rented out and has not been for sale before. The current owner purchased it with 117,400 km on the odometer and as of today it shows 118,700 km, only 1,300 km have been driven. The KITT has been exhibited at several trade fairs and featured in the Swiss portal "20 Minutes" a few years ago. The vehicle has had regular service and care every year. The last Swiss vehicle registration was performed in 2021, but due to delays from the vehicle registration office it's still considered valid. The current owner and his mechanic are willing to help or provide all the info necessary to renew the vehicle registration for the new owner. Technical condition: The KITT is in very good driving condition. There has been a new catalytic converter installed - it was specially made in the USA as they are no longer produced. A new radiator has been installed. The full condition of the vehicle has also been inspected and assessed by the experts from Allianz Suisse insurance with a full report available. Visual condition: Very good visual condition, the vehicle has been recently treated, polished and sealed. The KITT is very faithful to the TV series and has speech modules installed, a PC playing video sequences on two displays. The iconic red "scanner" on the front of the car is present and looks just like the one in the TV series. Not every single button has a function, some are there just for the visuals. The roof is non-removable, this is not a Targa or T-Top version of the car. The vehicle has always been kept indoors and never driven during rain. After much consideration, the current proud owner is now ready to sell the KITT in hopes that the new owner will enjoy and cherish the vehicle as much as he had.
