Woodturning a big walnut bowl : the tall one.

This is my second twice turned walnut bowl. It was first turned in 2021 so it had plenty of time to dry. The crack in the end grain did not worry me but my concern was the tenon : like the whole piece it had become oval and because I didn't find a way to fit the piece on my cole jaws safely, I couldn't turn the tenon round again so I took it slow and let my Vicmarc chuck do the rest. Je l'ai tourné une première fois quand il était encore vert en 2021 donc il a bien eu le temps de sécher. La fente dans le bois de bout ne m'a pas inquiété, j'étais un peu plus concerné par le tenon, qui , comme le reste de la pièce était légèrement ovale, parce que je n'ai réussi à caler correctement la pièce sur le plateau de reprise, je n'ai donc pas pu refaire le tenon. J'ai tourné lentement et j'ai fait confiance à mon mandrin Vicmarc.
