In questa puntata Cosimo IV° da Poggio Baroncelli ci parla delle torri della famiglia Buondelmonti (che si trovano tra via delle Terme e Borgo Santi Apostoli) ed in particolare ci racconta di quella in via delle Terme. La famiglia Buondelmonti, che era presente a Firenze fin dal 1135 e si è estinta nel 1845, è entrata nella storia perché dall'uccisione di Buondelmonte de'Buondelmonti ad opera della famiglia rivale degli Amidei, omicidio avvenuto nel vicino Ponte Vecchio, nacquero le due fazioni dei Guelfi (Buondelmonti) e dei Ghibellini (Amidei). Molto curioso è il pozzo (tappato) nel vicino Chiasso delle Misure sul cui bordo si vedono ancora oggi i solchi lasciati dalle funi per tirare su l'acqua . In this episode Cosimo IV° from Poggio Baroncelli tells us about the towers of the Buondelmonti family (which are located between via delle Terme and Borgo Santi Apostoli) in particular the one in via delle Terme. The Buondelmonti family, that was present in Florence from 1135 and died out in 1845, entered history because the two factions of the Guelphs (Buondelmonti) and the Ghibellines (Amidei). Very curious is the well (plugged) in the nearby Chiasso delle Misure on whose edge the furrows left by the ropes to pull up the water can still be seen today .
