A visit to Sakrebyle Elephant Camp | Jungle lodges and Resorts
I visited Sakrebyle elephant camp for a couple of days with my family and really enjoyed the place. The elephant camp, located on the Tunga river backwaters (Gajanuru dam) has around 22 elephants which are daily bathed, fed and left back into the forest until the next day. The JLR camp just across the road is situated on the border of Gajanur state forest, and the camp blends well into the forest. The food at JLR is good and also there are lots of activities like kids play area, trekking in the forest at dawn and dusk & so on. All in all a beautiful place to unwind and rejuvinate.
