In 2023, parks Canada introduced a shuttle to Moraine lake and the Moraine Lake Road is closed to personal vehicles year-round due to an unmanageable level of traffic. The Morraine lake shuttle needs to be booked in advance, the reservations can be made 2 days before departure day and fill up quickly, it is highly unusual to find a reservation on the day of the visit in peak season. The shuttle can be reserved at Parks Canada Reservations website and as of making of this video it costs approximately 8 CAD for adults, 4CAD for seniors while children 17 and under are free. Park your vehicle at the Park and Ride, located at the Lake Louise Ski Resort and ride the shuttle to Moraine lake. Moraine Lake is a glacially fed lake in Banff National Park, 14 kilometers outside the hamlet of Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. It is situated in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, at an elevation of approximately 6,181′ feet. it is a Dramatic lake with a distinctive blue-green color, plus hiking trails & a canoe dock. The canoe is a bit pricey starting at 140 CAD plus taxes for an hour. The color of the water and the surrounding mountains and glaciers make it a one of a kind of an experience! It is a must do on a Banff Trip!
