Warren Osborne, rest in peace, must have been a very humble man. I can’t find any first hand video or written interview with him. Which is not the case with other Benchmade prominent series designers like Greg Thompson, Mel Pardue (rest in peace), and Shane Sibert. I recall reading or watching somewhere that the original Osborne knife was a fixed blade and that Benchmade offered him royalties to replicate that shape on a pocket knife. One of my viewers, ‪@rommelthedesertfox3089‬ has inspired me to look closer at this knife and to test. Originally that was going to be the theme… but! While I was researching the knife, all the bull and spin came up, so I just had to call spayed a spayed (pawn intended… or is it punt?)
