Hey all! In todays video I showed some weekly meal preps that I do and keep on a regular basis. These meal preps save me a lot of time and effort as on a daily basis I use them and make my cooking process easy. Be it a working mom or a stay at home mom, we need that me time to have some relaxation and get back to the usual chores again. And that can be done when we can save us that time through these preps. Many people have many myths surrounding these preps, but when stored properly, these are really very helpful. Hope you all like this video, if yes, then dont forget to like share and subscribe :) Garlic Peeler : 9247755477 Tomato Puree : Fine chop or grind the tomatoes and cook them on low flame in 3 to 4tbsn oil until the oil separates. Let it cool down completely and store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It stays fresh for 1 week. If stored in the freezer as cubes it will stay fresh for 3 months. It can be used in curries for gravy, as pasta sauce, for rasam, for vermicelli pulav or any other tomato based cooking. Tamarind Pulp : Boil tamarind for a single boil until it becomes soft and strain the pulp as shown and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a week and as cubes in the freezer for 3months. Can be used in dal, rasam, sambar or any cooking which requires tangy quotient. Green Chutney: Wash coriander and mint leaves and grind it into a smooth paste along with a few garlic cloves, 1 inch ginger, green chillies as per taste, cumin seeds, Black salt, normal salt, Citric acid or lemon juice, chat masala, 2tbsn curd or 1tbsn roasted chana dal or putnal pappu. This can be stored in the refrigerator for 4 to 6days and in the freezer as cubes for 3months. Can be used for sandwiches, pakodas, cutlets etc. Ginger Garlic Paste : Grind 3/4th parts of Garlic and 1/4th parts of ginger along with salt and little bit of water, into a smooth paste. Store in the freezer as cubes and they will stay fresh for 3 to 4 months. Peeled Garlic: Peeled garlic can be stored in the refrigerator for a week of stored in an airtight container after removing their heads... Head is where the sprouting happens so removing the heads is essential and they are NOT toxic if stored properly. Pasta Sauce: In a kadai add 1tbsn olive oil, and add diced onions, garlic and vegetables of your choice. I added tomatoes, red capsicum, zucchini(you can take aanapakai), carrots. Saute them until brown and then add salt and let them cook until soft. Let this mixture cool down and grind into a smooth paste. This can be used for pasta base and even used as the base gravy for paneer makhni. Paneer Tikka: In a bowl add mustard sauce, paprika powder, haldi, salt, garam masala, aamchur powder, chat masala, 1tbsn besan, half a cup of hung curd or thick curd, and loads of coriander leaves. Mix this mixture well and add the paneer cubes to it and coat them thoroughly with this mixture well and store it in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days in the refrigerator. Soya Tikkis: Soak meal maker in hot water along with salt for 5 to 10mins. Wash them thoroughly and squeeze the water out and then fine chop them using a manual chopper. Take boiled lentilsof your choice, I chose white peas and fine chopped them too. To this mixture add besan, haldi, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt and mix well and form them into tikkis.. these can be stored in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days oor in the freezer for 3months. You can shallow fry them or airfry them and they are good to go. Schezwan or Chipotle Sauce: Soak 5 to 6 dry redchillies and cashews in hot water for half an hour and grind them into a smooth paste along with salt, vinegar, sugar. You can add water if needed. Store it in a glass jar and its good to go for 2 to 3 days. Mayonnaise: In a grinding jar add soaked cashews, hung curd, paneer cubes, olive oil, mixed herbs and salt and grind them into a smooth paste.
