Viola is a potential marriage partner an also involved in the side quest "Blood on the Ice" To open up the option to marry Viola you must visit Sadri's Wares which is located down one of the side streets in Windhelm, here you must accept Revyn Sadri's quest to return Viola's Gold Ring. Instead of completing the task for Revyn Sadri choose to tell Viola of the plan instead and that will give you the Marriage option. If you do complete the task so Revny you get the option to marry him instead. Marrying Viola allows you to live in her posh house in Windhelm, she will give you a homecooked meal everyday and also money from her imaginary business (100 gold per day). She wont follow you and you cant trade with her so she isn't the most useful of wives you can have in Skyrim. STEPS TO MARRIAGE IN SKYRIM 1.TALK TO MARAMAL IN RIFTEN ABOUT MARRIAGE IN SKYRIM 2. PURCHASE THE AMULET OF MARA - if you dont have one already 3. COMPLETE QUEST OR DEED FOR MARRIAGE PARTNER 4. AGREE TO MARRY 5. RETURN TO MARAMAL IN RIFTEN AND TELL HIM YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED. 6.
