In this video, we’re going to take a look at the Pinnacle Station mod for Mass Effect Legendary Edition. This mod restores the missing DLC that Bioware excluded from the remastered trilogy. I completed a full playthrough of the Pinnacle Station mod this past week and I’ll be sharing my thoughts on it. About six months ago I did a video on how Bioware was excluding the Pinnacle Station DLC from Mass Effect Legendary Edition - making it the only DLC that wasn’t included in the remaster. And basically the reason was Pinnacle Station was developed by a third party company called Demiurge Studios. And they had lost the source code for the DLC. Project Director Mac Walters estimated it would take six months to rebuild Pinnacle Station from the ground up, so Bioware made the difficult decision to cut the DLC from Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Well today - thanks to modders - you can now play the Pinnacle Station DLC in Mass Effect Legendary Edition on PC. This mod, which was created by the ME3Tweaks group, is available for download on Nexus Mods. In order to install it, you’ll also need to download the ME3Tweaks Mod Manager, which is available for free on Nexus as well. For those of you unfamiliar with Pinnacle Station, it’s the first DLC that was released for Mass Effect 1. It’s basically a glorified combat simulator with no real story arc to speak of. You’ll complete four different challenges on a variety of different maps with the goal of taking the top score in each trial.
