Hi guys Haley here with Venerate Media Group and Welcome to an all new Social In 60 Seconds. This week we’re going to be talking about some of 2015’s worst marketing fails. So first up we have Bud Light, they had their “Up For Whatever” campaign where they displayed text on their bottles that said “Remove the word ‘No’ from your night” this had a little bit of a creepy predatory rape vibe to it. A lot of people were very upset about this. They later went back and took this wording off of their bottles. That was a pretty big fail for them for 2015. Next up we have Heinz. This one is pretty funny. They had a QR code on some of their advertisements, that instead of linking back to the Heinz website or another promotional website for Heinz, it actually linked to a porn site. Kinda awkward. Finally, we have Bloomingdale's, they had an advertisement that said “Spike your best friends eggnog when they’re not looking.” So just like Bud Light, it kind of have a predatory rape vibe to it, so also not good. So those were out top 3 Marketing fails for 2015. And next time we’ll see you we’ll be in 2016. So Happy New Year to everyone!
