Count to Four - "Lavender Town" A BlankTV Feature! Artist city, country: South Jersey/Philadelphia Artist Biography: Count to Four was formed in early 2010. Made up of members Mike Hayden, Jay Miller, Pete Adams and Neale DiMento, the band wasted no time in writing and recording, putting out debut EP Know Where You Come From that September, just a matter of months after inception. '...quintessential pop-punk at its finest' -- Property Of Zack Know Where You Come From, along with 2011's Acoustic EP showcased not only the bands' highly motivated DIY work ethic, but also their versatility on song writing. It didn't take long for their tenacious efforts to be noticed, either, being drafted in to support some of pop-punk's biggest names including The Wonder Years, Man Overboard, We Are the In Crowd and Senses Fail. Further to such success, in December 2012 Count To Four were also handpicked from a contest of around 400 bands to open for All Time Low at a one-off college concert. All Time Low themselves choosing Count To Four as the deserving band. Count To Four's dedication to their work can be linked to one particular week during the 2012 summer US Warped Tour, where the entire band spent their time and cause following the tour across North America handing out free demos of their music. The effort proved a huge success with near 7,000 samplers making their way into the hands of potential new fans. It's this ethic that has helped the band majorly in building their popularity over the past three years, an ongoing project that will no doubt shortly be viewed as a monumental example for all new upstart bands hoping to draw closer attention to their work. As their following has continuously expanded, so has their tally of endorsements with the band currently holding sponsors from Imperial Cymbals, Drella Apparel and Firewheel Clothing, among others. Count To Four will also embark on their headline 'Ride It Like The Death Star Tour' in June to promote the release of Between Two Cities. I never got what I wanted did i? I never asked for anything That seemed to me quite out of reach If wanting more means getting less I must be wanting countlessness If I swear I can change What I've been trying to say Then would you promise to stay For me just one more day And now I'm falling apart My words become a cliché And if I'm stronger than that I'll find another way Into your heart I'll go to Philadelphia I just want to go home But I'm finding trouble knowing where that is Is it two cities? Or somewhere in between? No house on Mercer Ave A plot makes up for that I only wanted things to stay the same I never asked for anything That seemed to me quite out of reach If wanting more means getting less I must be wanting countlessness If I swear I can change What I've been trying to say Then would you promise to stay For me just one more day And now I'm falling apart My words become a cliché And if I'm stronger than that I'll find another way Into your heart I'll go to Philadelphia Stay strong I only wanted things to stay the same But wanting never added up to much My life is going through a change I'm burning through your wallet Like a candle to the flame Between two cities I know things will never change *** Check out the BlankTV official website: http://BlankTV.com Check out the new merch! http://blanktv.bigcartel.com/ Follow us on Twitter: http://twitter.com/#!/blanktv Like us on Facebook:   / blanktv
