Literary week at Rassaz International school. “A book is a magical thing that lets you travel to far-away places without ever leaving your chair.” ― Katrina Mayer. Importance of language cannot be estimated in words but felt deep within our hearts. Rassaz wishes to promote this love and back it up with a creative streak. The week that started from 21st November and ended on 27thNovember launched the Literary week. It included read impromptu, where a child would be given any book and asked to read and explain it. This helped the students promote their vocabulary and improve their comprehension skill. Wednesday was reserved for an exciting meeting with an author, Mrs.Supriya Parulekar. She has penned six books and was surprised with the latent talent that was seen in children. Other activities included, poetry rap (singing poetry with tap and snap of fingers.). The grand finale witnessed characters from book come alive as students of Rassaz International enacted their favorite characters. It was well appreciated by parents who felt that this will encourage children to read books. They thanked the teachers for bringing out such innovative methods to teach a subject. Principal Mrs. Archana Kulkarni said that celebration bring joy into a mundane life and love for languages need to be celebrated as we celebrate other festivals.
