We share this interesting case in which we had treated the one eye with progressive keratoconus with our Athens protocol CXL with excellent results! We coincidentally had the pleasure to observe that in little over a year later, and while this 35yo patient stopped rubbing his other eye that had milder keratoconus and had significant reversal of his ectasia. The basic signs of keratoconus manifestation in Corneal Tomography, a great lesson to be learned by clinicians and patients alike on how eye rubbing seems to be the 2nd contributing factor to the baseline genetic predisposition in patients a developing keratoconus clinically.
