Manipal Hospitals has entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of Columbia Asia Hospital for consideration on 2100cr. The Combined entity will have the presence of 27 hospitals across 15 cities. This will be with 7,200+ beds & 4000+ doctors Entity will be treating over 4 million patients annually, The entity to rank amongst the largest healthcare provider networks in the country. Dilip Jose MD CEO of the company spoke to ET NOW and said they are looking for more buyouts of standalone hospitals. And this buyout will help them achieve scale and wider geographical footprint in East and South India.
