AARA Feb 2016 Potluck

Our Feb. Potluck was a Huge success, Thank you to everyone who came to the potluck today, it was the largest yet! We had 40 people!! The food was fantastic, and the talk was incredibly well done. Thank you Dr Tushar Mehta for speaking for us today! Everyone got all their questions asked and answered from a super nice and knowable fellow animal rights activist! Here is a link to Dr Tushar Mehta Talk and all his Refrences - http://goo.gl/NOeUO0 Dr. Tushar Mehta received a Bachelor of Arts and Science from McMaster University, and then completed medical school at the University of Toronto, doing his residency in family medicine. In addition to family medicine, Tushar also practices emergency medicine and addictions medicine. He believes in a systematic understanding of environmental and animal rights issues for all, as well as causing people to reflect on compassion and philosophy. Dr. Tushar Mehta has been the medical advisor for the Sea Sheppard Crew aboard the Steve Irwin, in 2013, and has also spent time volunteering in India, Zimbabwe and Kenya. He spoke to us about the medical science showing the benefits and a practical review about optimizing your eating habits. So thank you Tushar for coming and speaking for us today. Join us for THE LOVE OF THE LAMBS event. There will be a tour of the paddocks and meet and greet with the animals and a special lunch served to the sheep in honor of Meadow the Lamb Rescue 1 year ago.
