Many of us know the challenges that arise when we meet other dog owners with our dogs. Often it is not the dogs that pose the problem, but our own mindset! I explain why women in particular find it difficult to deal with dog encounters in a relaxed manner and how our thoughts play a crucial role in this. Women tend to over-analyze situations, while men often approach them with a "that's just the way it is" mentality. This pattern leads us to worry more about what others might think instead of simply being in the moment. The key to relaxed dog encounters is to control your own thoughts and not be guided by negative assumptions. If we remain calm and confident, our dog will reflect exactly this behavior. In the video I show how important it is to stay in the here and now and not to be influenced by the actions or thoughts of other dog owners. Let's learn together to become more relaxed, to consciously use the power of our thoughts and to master dog encounters more calmly. An important tip: greet in a friendly manner, think in a solution-oriented way and stay in the moment - this way you can already get half the battle done! Take a look, laugh a little at your own patterns and get helpful ideas for the next walk with your four-legged friend.
