Street running and a CSX meet at La Grange, KY, plus a wide-open catch in the KY countryside

This was my first time railfanning at La Grange. I had been to the town before but never had a chance to explore. It was better than I expected. Within about 15 minutes of arriving a southbound train pulled into the siding and shortly after a northbound train came through and then the southbound continued on. There was an issue closer to Louisville with a crossing or something, so, I went to the railroad museum next to the tracks. It was pretty neat with some old artifacts. There is also a very large layout being worked on in the basement. I left the area and took the back roads toward northern KY. I caught a clear signal as I crossed the track in Glencoe. I set up across the road from the tracks and waited about 20 minutes before the train came through. Overall, it was a great day and I will certainly be back to La Grange. It was extremely gusty at times, so I apologize about the camera shake. Let me know where else is a great spot to railfan in KY.
