At the very top of the Temple of Time awaits a single Darknut. These guys become normal enemies near the end of the game, but this is the first time you fight one. The Darknuts in this game are very heavily armored and difficult to attack head-on, so using back slices and helm splitters can be useful in getting rid of his armor. Once the armor falls, however, he becomes much more agile (and vulnerable), so be careful. It is pretty easy to kill him by simply counter-attacking him. Afterwards, you obtain the Dominion Rod, which allows you to control certain statues in the game, similar to a certain song in Wind Waker.
