De Slag om de Grebbeberg was een veldslag tijdens de Duitse inval in Nederland in mei 1940. Het is een vrij onbekende WO2-slag. De Grebbeberg was het zwakke punt van de Grebbelinie. Op 10 mei 1940 begon de Duitse inval in Nederland. Nazi-Duitsland viel Nederland binnen via land en via de lucht. Binnen een dag braken ze door de IJssellinie en bereikten vervolgens de belangrijkste Nederlandse verdedigingslinie: de Grebbelinie. Het gebied voor de Grebbelinie kwam onder water te staan. De enige plek die dat niet was, was de Grebbeberg. Ondertussen landden Duitse troepen in het Nederlandse achterland.
