The first six episodes of the fourteenth series of the radio comedy panel show My Word, originally broadcast on the BBC Home Service in early summer 1965, featuring Frank Muir, Denis Norden, Dilys Powell and Anne Scott-James alongside host Jack Longland. Due to the unchanging cast and paucity of info on recordings, it's difficult to determine the sequence of My Word episodes even with contemporary radio listings, so some guesswork has been used in the arrangement of this omnibus. 0:00 - Series 14 Episode 1, 11th May 1965 Definitions: Sake, Sonobuoy, Tickey, Abalone Diminutives: Lottie, Sandy, Molly, Sally Quotations: "Please to remember the fifth of November...", "Thirty days hath September; April, June and November...", "The north wind doth blow, and we shall have snow...", "Three wise men of Gotham went to sea in a bowl..."
