As an ambitious organisation we are continuously looking for ways to enhance and improve the services we offer to our local populations to meet the needs of patients. Last year the Trust was chosen by NHS England to form a Vanguard with Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust to help transform care for patients through implementing new models of care. In 2016 we plan to start work on our new purpose built Endoscopy unit and further develop services at both Queen Mary's Hospital and Erith & District Hospital. Our high Friends and Family Test score is testament to our delivery of high quality care and we have been voted one of the ‘Best Places to Work in the NHS’ for the second year running.
