From the beginning this job was interesting, the Mazda cx9 was tucked away in a tiny parking lot at the end of a very narrow road with cars parked everywhere. This wheel bearing was so bad I didn't feel comfortable driving the car to my shop. Luckily I did, it was falling apart. When I was taking it apart, the hub came right out. The rotor was making contact with the caliper bracket. It was so bad it ruined the knuckle. Furthermore, the control arm was wore out where the ball joint goes and there was some major play there also.
