!! THIS IS A SHOWCASE, THE LEVEL HAS NOT BEEN VERIFIED !! before I drop the context as to why this is being uploading I'd just like to say PLEASE don't send hate to anyone involved, there's no point in fueling the fire, the damage is already done THE STORY: for better or for worse, this level was supposed to follow one rule during verification: it would only get revealed as progress was made from 0. Komp and Nikrodox decided to do it like that way back when the decoration was finished, and it managed to go until now without getting majorly leaked (unless you count spaceuk hacking his 60% progress video). a few months ago, it was revealed to the team that a leaked copy of the 2 year old SpaceUK version had been sent out by a former playtester/verifier to about 5 of their friends. One of those friends sold the copy and it kept getting passed around, until it ended up in the hands of fnm04. We knew fnm had it because of screenshots of him playing it in a private server, and at that point we decided not to take any drastic action and instead try to talk to everyone involved to minimize the risk of it spreading further. Unfortunately fnm04 decided to upload a video of the level publicly today, along with leaking it to the GD servers. We're still not entirely sure why, but the running theory is that it may have been spurred on by something fnm04 is going through unrelated to GD. Again, please don't spread any hate to him. My top priority at the moment is making sure everybody involved is safe, mentally and physically, and to get closure on the situation. His video has now been deleted and we're working with mods to try and keep the leak off the servers, but of course a ton of people still have copies of the video and level and are reuploading them, so we decided to try and get ahead of it. ABOUT THIS VIDEO: This video is a hacked showcase of the entire CURRENT version of the level, as opposed to the video of SpaceUK's version. Hopefully this will show a more accurate representation of the difficulty of the level, as the current version is much harder than the leaked version. The differences are pretty subtle, but with a level this precise any tiny movement make a huge difference in difficulty and the majority of jumps have been buffed. ABOUT THE FUTURE OF BANSHEE: I'm still verifying it, slowly but surely! I'm so so sorry it's taken this long, playing this level has been by far my hardest challenge in GD and I know I could have prevented the leak if I worked just a little bit faster. As for the secrecy of the ending, we decided there's really no point in hiding it any more, anybody who cares will be able to find it either way. I'll probably upload runs to 100 here in the future and I DEFINITELY want to begin livestreaming it as soon as it's feasible for me, so be on the lookout for that!!
