We did a Cinque Terre day trip from Florence, and we answer the ~burning~ question of 'is it worth it?' (spoiler: yes!) We took a train from Florence to La Spezia to the Cinque Terre. While it's quite the trek, the journey is just as important as the destination :) We had just ONE DAY to explore Cinque Terre! While we think Cinque Terre deserves much more than just one day, that's all we had this visit and we tried to do and see as much as possible! We share what we think YOU should do (and not do!) if you only have a day in Italy's 5 picturesque towns. We visit 3 of the 5 towns - Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, and Manarola. We were planning on visiting Riomaggiore, but the train was delayed and we sadly had to miss it. We really had a great time in the towns we were able to visit - wandering through cobblestone alleys, climbing to gorgeous views, and just soaking in the Italian sea air.
