The initiative seeks to move beyond conventional travel by blending adventure, culture, history, and tradition into a single immersive journey. It is designed to offer a holistic travel experience that encourages exploration, learning, and deeper engagement with the diverse heritage of the Himalayas. The expedition will be executed with full logistical support from Khangri Tours & Treks under the leadership of proprietor Tshering Dorjee, known for expertise in mountain expeditions and trekking. The first leg of the journey will commence from Zuluk in East Sikkim and conclude at Uttarey in West Sikkim, showcasing the region’s rich cultural heritage, historical significance, and scenic landscapes. Beyond adventure, the initiative aims to inspire young entrepreneurs in the tourism sector to innovate and develop sustainable, unique travel products rather than relying on saturated markets. The second leg is planned from the Indo-Nepal border in the upcoming fall season, with a long-term vision to extend the expedition across Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and ultimately Kashmir—creating a continuous east-to-west Himalayan trail.
