Creda - Ashden Award
CREDA received the 2018 Ashden Impax Award for Sustainable Energy & Health Innovation at a ceremony at the Royal Geographical Society in London on 14th June 2018. The Ashden Awards are given to sustainable energy pioneers and are a globally recognized measure of excellence. Former UN Climate Chief and the key architect of the Paris Climate Agreement, Christiana Figueres, was the keynote speaker at the Ceremony. Ten awards were presented at the ceremony to organizations working on the frontline of energy innovation, sustainable buildings, energy market disruption, and clean air in towns and cities, both in the UK and globally. The Ashden Judges says “This is a model of public health and energy agencies coming together to achieve significant impact at the scale that is highly successful and deserves to be replicated elsewhere”.
