British Airways Airbus A350 Firm & Wet Landing at London Heathrow with Amazing Condensation

(4K, 2024) British Airways Airbus A350-1000 (G-XWBJ) approach and firm landing on Runway 9L at a miserably wet London Heathrow, operating flight BA274 from Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, in late October 2024. Skip to the landing gear down at timestamp 03:15 or the landing at timestamp 06:05. Finally a daylight video from this trip! Quite the contrast to leaving the blue skies and heat of the Nevada desert, this was a stark reminder that I was nearly home. The only upside to landing in this kind of weather is the amazing condensation, which was really impressive here on finals for the runway! I wouldn't go so far as to say this was a hard landing but it was certainly a firm thud at touchdown! Watch along the ground under the engine as we slow down and you'll see some spray from the reverse thrust as well! The overcast cloud coverage broke for a short period just as we approached over Windsor, giving a nice view of the Long Walk. This landing was caught live by Chris at SDTV Live!
