Third meeting of the Regional Advisory Group to the MIDAS Project in Poland, organized by the European Carbon Farmers in co-operation with the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation - State Research Institute (IUNG-PIB). European Carbon Farmers, Polish Partner of the MIDAS Project – Marginal Land, Industrial Crops and Innovative Biobased Value Chains - presents a video from the third meeting of the Regional Advisory Group (RAG) of the MIDAS Project in Poland. The meeting took place in a stationary format with online streaming at the headquarters of IUNG-PIB in Puławy, Poland, as well as around the Institute on 29-30 May 2025. European Carbon Farmers was established to build a farmer-centric bridge between agricultural and climate policy. Since 1 November 2022, we have been implementing activities within the MIDAS Project co-financed by the European Union's research and innovation programme "Horizon Europe" under Grant Agreement no. 101082070. The project's assumption is to develop the production of industrial crops on marginal soils for the development of the bioeconomy. The main project activity carried out by European Carbon Farmers in Poland is to establish, monitor, and steward the demonstration plot of the agroforestry system located in Żuławy Wiślane. European Carbon Farmers is on a mission to build a farmer-centric bridges between agricultural and climate policies. IUNG-PIB implements the Carbon Farming CE project under the Interreg Central Europe Program (Grant Agreement ID CE010025).
