Scratch building a Ryan’s Rebel stick style R/C airplane: Episode 17: I had some down time. All of the years of air travel I have done, rarely have I got sick after flying. This trip to Vegas started by flying 300 miles in the opposite direction first, and then using a different plane to go the correct direction…. Both ways. Then right in the middle of the trip the whole discovery of Covid 19 started (especially in Seattle, one of our pass through airports) and soon after the eventual shutting down and cancelling of everything. But a few days after I returned home, my throat was sore, and soon after my voice was sans… I mean gone. And it really isn’t fun to work on a plane while brown water is dripping out of your nose as you are leaning over it. However, after a few days of rest, and some decent Sudafed (not the crap they sell in Oregon) and I am on the mend… not 100% but it’s coming. These are trying times, with many states invoking a curfew or stay at home order, and it might make us all a little stir crazy. But we will get through this, and in the meantime, it’s still snowing here, so I will stay at home and work on the Rebel. More videos to come. Stay safe and well.
