At the regular, Wednesday, December 14th virtual support group meeting, the speaker was: Mitch Miglis, MD, autonomic specialist, Stanford Neurology. He described what causes the sign of orthostatic hypotension, how the sign manifests, and treatment (both pharmacological and non-pharmacological). There were lots of good questions from attendees. Dr. Miglis shared this "orthostatics log," for tracking blood pressure at home . The basic measurements are taken lying flat and then after standing in place for 3 minutes.
