He fought in crazy football fan battles, he always was the true leader and never backed down. Then one day he has changed street fights to the sparring sessions in the gym and became the champion of St.-Petersburg city in kickboxing and MMA. Street fighter became the captain of young rising team Sech Pro. After that Romanov signed the contract with M-1 and soon became of the best welterweight fighters in Russia. Tonight we are going to remember how he made his M-1 debut in 2016 at M-1 Challenge 65 event in St.-Petersburg. Just two years later Sergey will gather the venue full of fans to his fights. His opponent was Brazilian fighter from famous Chute Boxe team that is known worldwide by their muay thai specialists and famous members of the team such as Wanderlei Silva, Mauricio Shogun or Murillo Ninja. Sergio de Fatima was another member of this team, he managed to fight 15 times in just two years and won in 12 of these fights, 7 of them by the knockouts. Two young and talented strikers were going to make impressive performance for all the fans around the world.
