Dropping into Zero Build Trios with T-West, Kaylee, and… me. The squad energy was high, comms were clean, and for once I showed up ready to contribute instead of just being emotional support with a rifle. We landed smart, looted fast, and immediately Kaylee started calling shots like a seasoned IGL while T-West did T-West things—sliding into fights with zero fear and perfect timing. Meanwhile, I was focused on the important stuff: staying alive and not embarrassing myself in the first two minutes. Mission accomplished. Mid-game is where things got interesting. We ran into a few squads—mostly bots, but still, they shoot back so it counts. Kaylee cracked shields like it was casual, T-West cleaned up the real threats, and I actually helped. I chipped in with some damage, finished off a couple of bots, and even snagged an elim that required aiming instead of panic spraying. Growth 💪. I wasn’t leading the charge, but I also wasn’t hiding in a bush pretending to “watch our flank.” Rotations were smooth, teamwork on point, and somehow I managed to stick close enough to help without getting knocked immediately. I revived when needed, pinged enemies, and resisted the urge to push solo like I was suddenly cracked. Self-control is key. End game rolled around and it was clear: Kaylee and T-West were locked in, moving like pros. I played my role—support, cover fire, and not choking. No wild clutches from me, but no catastrophic mistakes either, which honestly might be my biggest win. We closed it out as a team, with solid comms and zero yelling (from me, at least). Final verdict: great teamwork, strong squad play, and for once I wasn’t a liability. Still got carried a bit by raw talent and youth, but hey—useful carried is still useful.
