In this video today we will see how to lock applications on iPhone with your Face ID or Passcode. For that one I will go to "settings" here. Go to this option "screen time". Select this option "Turn on screen time". Select this option "Turn on screen time" again and select this option "This is my iPhone". Scroll down and then you have to select this option "Use screen time passcode". Enter a passcode. Re enter again to verify the password and if you want you can enter your Apple ID here so that you can reset your screen time password in case if you forget it. I will not forget. So what I will do is I will select this option cancel and then skip. So once you have set up the screen time passcode what you need to do is you need to go to this option "App limits". Select this option Add limit. Enter the screen time passcode and from here you have to select that application which you want to lock. Now applications are arranged here according to the category. For example social, Games, entertainment etc. Now if I have to lock WhatsApp application what I will do is I will select this option social and I will select this option WhatsApp. WhatsApp application belongs to social application category. Select next and from here you can select how long you want to allow WhatsApp to be used every day. So you have to allow minimum 1 minute and here you have to select this option block at end of limit and then add. Now here you can see WhatsApp can be used for 1 minute every day. So what I will do is I will open WhatsApp application and then I will use this WhatsApp application for 1 minute and let us see what happens after I use this application for 1 minute. So once the 1 minute time limit is finished you can see you will get this screen, You have reached your limit on WhatsApp. Select this option Ask for more time and then you can use this application for one more minute and let us see what happens after 1 minute again. So after one more minute you can see again there is a message You have reached your limit on WhatsApp. Now select this option Ask for more time and let us see what happens this time. Now this time you can see you can't borrow one more minute. You have to use screen time passcode and since you only will be knowing the screen time pass code so other person can't use this application. So here we can see once the time limit is finished you can borrow one more minute and then the application will be locked.
