We finally took our first international trip as a family this year and Hong Kong welcomed us with open arms! We rode the 360 cable cars up to Ngong Ping Village where the views felt endless, walked through Sky100 and felt like we were floating above the city, spent golden hour at Victoria Harbor watching the skyline light up, hopped on the Big Bus to see the city from every angle, got lost in the magic of Disneyland, took the tram up to Victoria Peak where the whole city spread out beneath us, and sailed on the Aqualuna at sunset with the harbor breeze in our hair. There’s something about experiencing a new place with the people you love most—every moment felt bigger and more colorful somehow. Editing this brought back all those little in-between moments. This trip reminded me that it’s not about checking off every landmark, it’s about being together in a place that’s new to all of us, seeing it through each other’s eyes.
