Review MABEF easel sketch box M/23 in real life
It's a nice easel, but it does have its issues. The leather strap to carry it on your back is thin and the copper mounting hooks for the strap are not strong enough. They came loose at all three joints when I walked with it for the first time. The first joint that came loose was the upper one, what resulted in dropping my paintbox... in soft sand, so luckily the easel was not damaged. But my canvasboard sadly did tore and was only partly usable after that. There also broke a piece of wood from the drawer that is inside the box when I closed the box. This resulted in a drawer that slid open when the box was on my back... luckily I didn't lose paint or brushes.
