Orchard Offshore - Don Shead - Meadow Cove to Start Point to Berry Head return

Fantastic day out running Don Shead radio controlled model Zenoah powered IC offshore power boat out of the chase boat home port of Dartmouth, South Devon, UK. Clearing the estuary mouth and launching at Meadow Cove we tracked past Blackpool Sands in calm conditions ( offshore wind ) to Slapton Sands passing Torcross village past Limpset Rocks to Beesands. After refuelling at Beesands on the chase boat we pressed on to Hallsands, the ruined village and Start Point. Having decided on a trip to Berry Head we turned back towards Dartmouth tracking the coast of Start Bay into perfect offshore conditions allowing us to reach 30mph as Don Shead became airborne maximising the performance of the surface cutting props. Refuelling back at Blackpool Sands we tracked on past Dartmouth between Outer Froward Point and the Mew Stone past Scabbacombe Head just short of Berry head for a return trip back to the home port.
