Here is another performance of mine. Hope you enjoy it! ________________________________________________________________________________________________ You can see my System here: https://modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/... ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Patchnotes: Voice 1: The bass comes from the TipTop Audio Buchla 256t which goes into a Doepfer Wasp filter and from there into an Intellijel Quad VCA. From there it goes into the Expert Sleepers ES9. VCA and filter get the same envelope from the Soundforce Dual ADSR. It is played with the Arturia Keystep, which distributes pitch and gate via the Squarp Hermod+. Voice 2: At the beginning of the patch I played around with Plonk and the 4MS DLD and recorded something into the bitbox. Then I took a section of it and looped it. It is the sound that is faded in first and later runs in the background. This sound is multed and goes once directly into the Expert Sleepers ES9 and once into the Mutable Instruments Clouds and from there into the Make Noise Q PAS, whose frequency is modulated by Div Kids Ochd. The smile pass out goes into the ES9. Voice 3: A Rings sequenced by the Mutable Instruments Marbels goes into a Shakmat Dual Dagger and from there into the Strymon Magneto. Rings gets a frequency modulation from Xaoc Devices Batumi. Voice 4: Another Mutable Instruments Rings is sequenced by the Squarp Hermod+. I recorded a simple melody into the Hermod+. The Hermod-Effects Chance, Echo, Scale and Swing are used to produce the strum-like tones. The Rings goes into another Shakmat Dual Dagger, from there into the 4MS Dual Looping Delay and on into the Make Noise X-PAN and then into the ES9. The panning is modulated with Batumi. Voice 5: The 4MS Spectral Multiband Resonator continuously plays a chord and runs directly into the ES9. Voice 6: The sound that is added towards the end is a plonk that runs into the Q Bit Data Bender full wet and is triggered by the same gate out as the bass (Keystep) The Data Bender plays the sound backwards in micromode. Randomsound 1: During patching I recorded something in Instruo's Lubadh. This sound is played backwards. It first goes into the Intellijel Rainmaker and then into the Mutable Instruments Blades. From there into the ES9. Lubadh's Lenghts parameter is modulated by a random out from Pamela's New Workout and the retrigger input gets random gates. This causes the playback start point in the recording to jump back and forth. Randomsound 2: Another sound that is played randomly is a small snipped from the Lubadh recording, which was recorded in the Bitbox and cut there. It goes from the Bitbox directly into the ES9 and is modulated in the panorama in Bitwig. Performance: In the performance I use a midi controller to control filters and volume in my DAW (Bitwig). Since I can tap all tracks individually via the ES9, each channel has a low-pass and a high-pass filter. In addition, during the performance I slowly turn up the feedback and mix parameters of the various delays, turn up wavefolding in MI Blades, activate a pattern in Hermod+ and slowly turn up the probability for gates on the X-Out in Marbles. I used Eventide Space (Shimmer-Algorithm) for Reverb. Everything runs through the Elektron Analog Heat + FX in Clean Boost mode. Compressor & Warb effect are also activated. Mixing& Mastering: I mixed & mastered with the following plug-ins: Oeksound Soothe2 Fabfilter Pro-Q Fabfilter C2 Fabfilter Saturn 2 Wavesfactory Trackspacer 2 Ozone 11
