More so than most cars in the world of motorsport, drift cars get thrashed. Many people could hardly see a reason to bother polishing them, but when it comes to Adam LZ's gorgeous Maritime Blue E36 M3, we just couldn't help ourselves from washing and polishing it! And what better venue to do so than trackside at Formula Drift Seattle? We started with a generous helping of our Spray on Car Wash used with our gentle Plush Edgeless Microfiber Towels which was a great solution considering that a hose and bucket wash wasn't possible in this environment. https://www.griotsgarage.com/product/... Being a drift car, this 2JZ powered BMW was caked in a smattering of previously burnt rubber. We used our powerful Track Spray to dissolve those rubber bits so that we could get to that beautiful blue beneath it. https://www.griotsgarage.com/product/... We used Brilliant Finish Rinseless Wash, diluted at 6:1 in a Spray bottle, in conjunction with our Brilliant Finish Synthetic clay to pull out any remaining nasty bits from the paint before moving onto our polishing step. https://www.griotsgarage.com/product/... To polish we used our G9 & G8 random orbital polishers paired with our orange foam correcting pads and BOSS Correcting Cream to remove light to moderate defects in a single step. https://www.griotsgarage.com/product/... Then we topped off our work with our Ceramic 3-in-1 wax for durable protection and to hopefully help prevent any further molten chunks of tire rubber from sticking to the surface in the future. https://www.griotsgarage.com/product/...
