Masaru Emoto was born in Yokohama, Japan in July 1943 and is a graduate of the Yokohama Municipal University's Department of Humanities and Sciences. In Japanese, Hado means vibration or wave fluctuation. In the book, The Hidden Message in Water, Dr. Emoto used Hado to mean all the subtle energy that existed in the universe. This energy could be positive or negative and is transmitted from one existing form to another easily.
