They were short on time so matches went from 90 seconds to 60. Felt rushed. Here is a break down. 7 exchanges in this match. Ref called it 6-1 or 4-1-2 for Adam. I called it 3-3-1 a Tie. I think I got 1,6 and 7th exchanges and he got 2,3, 5 and 4 was a wash. He did good, will get revenge next year he is a regular and a good competitor. :20 At :24 I struck his hand he strikes my head w a couple of #1s. Judge points my way and the ref points to his Rt to Adam and says "wash"-even exchange. I think Adam got the point. 1-0 Adam? I call it for me if we are hand sparring a wash other wise. :29 At :30 I JKD in and he blocks my initial angle #1. I cross step back come to LML from RSL as I step back in another angle #1 which he blocks again then I thrust w an angle # 12 spear as i check his weapon hand w my check hand. As I step back he gives me a couple of 3 and 4 across my shield. I got the point could have been a wash. We are tied 1-1. :39 At :41 He 1/2 swings from RML then I from LML give him and angle 4# as I block his strike w his check hand at :43. He then gives me a 3,4,3 across my face shield as I give him a 4, 3,4,3 across his trunk. I give him this point. 2-1 Adam. I give him a "Thumbs Up" And tap my belly. I know I hit him hard and wanted to make sure he is OK. he is a pretty tough competitor. :48 At :50 from LML I lunge in and bridge to RSL and swing and angle #1. He blocks it then swings and angle #1 on me that misses. Then gives me another a couple of #1 as I stab. Judge gave me point and Ref said wash and pointed to Adam. I think he got point again. He was more aggressive in Knife and it put him in bad situations. Annoying how they could miss that.
