This video was recorded with permission from general Car Foreman Wayne Warrham (decent man God rest his soul) just prior to three of this crew retiring, me included. Also known as Intrain Repairs, an expensive and dangerous process of changing wheels using multiple pieces of machinery and hydraulics that constantly required maintenance, its purpose was to eliminate switching, but they ended up switching anyway. You cannot beat a drop pit, line up a string of cars at a repair facility and they are done in one shift.
