Rex Hayden's 90th Birthday Flight at Essex Gliding Club, Ridgewell.

My father, Dr Rex Hayden, has been flying gliders practically all his life. Most of this was based at North Weald Airfield where he was a gliding instructor for many years. He is now based at Ridgewell Airfield following the loss of gliding at North Weald following the expansion of Stansted. He is now nearing 90 years of age and still flying, he spends his time piloting with other instructors and sharing his experience of aerobatics. To celebrate his 90th, he strapped on a GoPro, borrowed from his Grandson Alex, and here is the resultant footage.
