In only a small minority (2 or 3 %) of that women, the virus persists in the body and can cause premalignant lesions. ✅ Being diagnosed in time, these lesions can be treated with a very simple treatment. But in turn of this very small percentage of women who generate these premalignant lesions, over many years, these patients can have this lesion progress to a more invasive lesion or uterine cervical cancer. ✅ Therefore, what they should do is consult a gynecologist for a specific test to find out whether the virus has produced a premalignant lesion in the cervix or not to diagnose it in time to treat it and thus prevent cervical cancer. #cervicalcancer #lucasminig #screeningofcervicalcancer #humanpapilomavirus #HPV #expertgynecologist #gynecologiconcologist #valencia #spain #laparoscopicsurgery #HPVvaccine #laparoscopichysterectomy #ovariancancer #cytoreduction #peritonealcarcinomatosis #intraperitonealchemotherapy #immunotherapy #endometrialcancer #uterinemyoma #laparoscopicmyomectomy #endometriosis #laparoscopicsurgery #specializedgynecologist #roboticsurgery #ovariancyst #histeroscopy
