Artistsmeet Les Mead 8th July 2014
Rickmansworth's family venue Watersmeet has regular exhibitions in the foyer in the name of Artistsmeet. Local artists display their work for a two monthly period. From the 2nd July to 29th August 2014 the Exhibition is a selection of photographs taken by former Chairman Les Mead, a number of the images were taken during Les' year as Chairman of the District Council, with additional photos from the local area and his travels around the world. The exhibition was opened by the present Chairman Chris Lloyd. Sponsors of the exhibition were Active Air from Maple Cross and Trend & Thomas from Rickmansworth. Greatly appreciated by Les for their support. Les is now the Vice Chairman of Three Rivers Museum Trust based in Basing House next to Watersmeet.
