Welcome back to a new video at the second biggest City of the federal state Bavaria Nuremberg. Today we visit one of the biggest church of the city called Saint Lorenz church. This video includes a guided tour into the late gothic interior and a tour around the church. The tour into the Saint Lorenz church: I visited Saint Lorenz church on a grew day of the European autumn 2025. At first I went into the side part and connected the walk with the big choir which was the last part which had joined the church in the middle age. I explained the design of the gothic windows and spent time at the altar. Also I went to the right-side part and had a look to a kind of special altar which shows a nun, which should be famous for the church. At the end I went back outside and filmed the church from different areas. I´m a big fan of the two high tower and the big choir which is built in typical gothic architecture which can´t be better. The towers were not in open for me to see but I gave your same pictures of the view what you have when you visit one to the high towers like in summertime. I was a comeback to this pastor church for many years. Some words about the Saint Lorenz church: The church is the with Saint Sebaldus church the biggest church at Nuremberg and its Old town. The inside architecture is a classic gothic and late gothic design like the creation of the roof with its stretched bows. Also the choir which was built between 1437 and 1477 and controlled by Mattias Heinzelman from Nuremberg. The name is coming from the holy Lorenz and the whole part of the south part of the river Pegnitz is named by Lorenz and originally by the church. After the time of the renovation by Martin Luther from the Noble family “Sachsen Gotha Coburg the church became protestant and a pastor church at Nuremberg. During events at the Old Town like the Blue Night or the “Bardentreffen” music event one tower of the church is open and can visited by a guided tour.
