In September 2025 the NHS England and The Royal College of GPs announced an initiative called Jess' Rule in memory of Jessica Brady. Jessica's symptoms of adenocarcinoma went unrecognised until the point where it was so advanced her life could not be saved. UK Government said "Patients with a potentially deadly illness will be diagnosed sooner thanks to a new life-saving patient safety initiative called Jess's Rule."
