The disturbing video of the assault went viral, sparking public outrage. In response, hundreds of locals, including farmers and political leaders, gathered at the toll plaza, vandalized the premises, and declared it toll-free. Police were deployed in large numbers, and an FIR was registered. So far, 6 toll workers have been arrested, and further investigation is underway.
