In short, it's a love letter to 90s survival horror that updates the classic formula with modern visuals and a chilling new story. Description: Echoes of the Living is a dark classic Survival Horror game that pays homage to the greatest hits of the 1990s, especially titles like Resident Evil and Silent Hill. The plot is set in 1996 in a small, quiet European town. A mysterious fog suddenly appears, and soon after, the inhabitants become sick, leading to chaos and the dead walking the streets. Gameplay Features: Core Gameplay: It features a return to the classic style of survival horror, including fixed camera angles, puzzles, limited resources/inventory management, and backtracking. Visuals: Despite the retro design, it utilizes fully 3D environments and modern-gen graphics to reimagine the visual horror. Protagonists: The game features multiple interconnected stories with their own point of view, focusing on two main characters who must collaborate to survive and uncover the truth: Laurel Reaves (a police officer investigating the fate of her father) and Liam Oakwood (an ex-Special Forces member who arrives in the town to find his fiancée). Goal: Your primary goal is to make it out alive of the infected city while uncovering the truth behind the incident.
