We started the last day of the trip in Vukovar, Croatia. After checking out the famous water tower once again, we started to make our way to the west. I didn't know if we'll be able to reach Slovenia at this point, but I said we'll just keep on riding and see where we end up. The ride was not too hard as there were pretty straight roads once again, but the weather was slowly getting worse. We even had some trouble finding gasoline for my father's Honda in the countryside of Croatia. We managed to get it in the end and were soon greeted by heavy rain. It was my first time riding in the rain, so I didn't know what to expect. The riding was not really that different from when it's dry, just have to be a bit more careful for aquaplaning. We managed to reach the Slovenian border in the dark, but it was closed so we had to find another one. In the end, we did manage to cross the whole of north Croatia, from the border with Serbia to Slovenia. It was a long day of riding, but it was worth it as we were able to spend the extra day relaxing in my father's home village.
