Greece - Administrative region of Central Greece (Sterea Ellada or Roumeli) - Municipality of Evrytania / Capital city Karpenisi. Friday, 8th of August 2025, temp 28 C (in the canyon, above 32 C). A mountainous region, well famous among (mainly) Greek tourists during the winter season (ski resorts, chalets etc). Far away from the sea, a lot cooler during the summer, offers exquisite opportunities for trekking / mountaineering and, of course, light enduro rides in the beautiful mountains full of spruces... Starting from Neo Mikro Chorio and ending at Prousos (106km in total). First, I pass the Tavropos' bridge then I visit the tiny village of Episkopi and after that I pass the Episkopi Bridge (around the artificial lake Kremaston). After a good freddo cappuccino in the shore of the lake, I take the road from Episkopi to Prousos passing through the Krikeliotis river canyon (23 km to Aspropyrgos where the video ends). I named this road as the "misunderstood" road because a local waiter in the tavern I used to go, when asked about this road, he characterized it as such (avoided by the locals) due to the risk of accidental falling... Although, I described it to him as "very impressive" and, obviously, "underestimated" sight-seeing road, I have to admit that, albeit the astonishing views, sometimes I felt height vertigo especially when I tried to approach the edge for a good caption... I had the same feeling many-many years ago in the south of France in the "route des aigles"... I think it is incredible!! An absolute must see! But don't push your luck! Ride safe! Warning: This is absolutely NOT a good place to go if you are afraid of heights! #voge300rally
